So much is written into her works as lessons in life, whether in the descriptions of the environment, her uncanny way of making us aware of the importance of preservation of our wildlife, and in our experiences as we all age. My most important contribution to MAM is to make people who have not read her works, make them aware. And that, I have accomplished many times. In BEACH HOUSE FOR RENT, the most poignant part for me, was toward the end when the loggerhead appeared near Lovie's dune, a simply amazing view of life. I will keep that lesson with me for a very long time. In conclusion, the story is wonderful, the lessons important and beautiful. Once again, Mary Alice Monroe, thank you!!!

This is my new favorite summer book! IMary Alice Monroe's books teach us about marine conservation through complex and interesting characters set on the southern coast. Once you open her books you are in for a treat. This series, as well as the summer girls series, takes you into the world of multifaceted, strong, likeable women who encounter life problems and set about meeting the challenges with grace. The characters will stay with you long after you finish the book. The best part is that my grown daughter who is an environmental scientist and I can share these stories and enjoy conversing about the happenings in their lives-and the very real challenges that exist for marine life and these characters. My advice: Grab the book, snuggle up in a comfortable spot and let the waves roll in and out as you spend some time at Primrose Cottage. You will not be disappointed. Happy reading and happy summer!

Oh how I've missed you, these characters of mine. I really feel as tho these characters are friends and family. "Beach House for Rent" is book #4 in a lowcountry series that is rich with characters, scenery, relationships, heartache and love. This ongoing saga is great for laying back with a tall glass of tea and allowing the story to envelop you. If you are not on the beach, these books will definitely transport you there.

The Beach House series is my favorite Mary Alice Monroe book series. Just when I think she can't get any better, she delivers yet another wonderful book. Beach House for Rent was a fast and highly entertaining read. Her heartwarming characters take the readers on a journey as they plod through life trying to make sense of why things happen. Mary Alice Monroe is an amazing storyteller. She weaves the fragility of our endangered sea animals and the environment throughout this book series making the books not only entertaining, but also informative. I'm ready for the next book in the series!

Mary Alice Monroe is my favorite writer and this book did not disappoint. From her first few lines, I felt myself transported to a place I would love to be with people I would love to know. One of my favorite things the author does is teach the reader something about nature. While continuing the story of Lovie and the sea turtle team, she introduces shore birds and broadens our knowledge of nature once again. I've read all her books and eagerly await the next.

I was Blown away at yet another Brilliant book and with a twist that I did not expect. This book, while sad in parts, was also a Wonderful way to see how the Human Strength, Growth and Perserverence can help us work through personal struggles. The awareness about anxieties I feel are an added bonus to her Heartfelt stories . I Highly recommend this book and All Mary Alice Monroe books, you will fall in love with her new characters, almost feel the ocean breeze, smile at the familiarity of the beach house, the Turtles, the ecological insight and Celebrate the Residents we love .Im Hopeful and Excited for another book in this series.

This is a fun book. There is no great depth in the text explaining the photos but it is all about the pictures. I do offer a slight caveat. More than a few of the facts associated with the photos are incorrect. I noticed at least 6 errors without any need to double check. My theory is that most of the data were found using a simple web search and there was no effort to fact check. Some offenses are simply blatant. For example,the price of a current version Maserati Gran Turisimo is listed in what I can only assume as being in Australian dollars or a more direct offense is where an 8 cylinder Lamborgini Jalpa is listed as being a V10). That aside I find myself enjoying the photographs and making mental tick marks as to what cars I want in my garage some day.Even if you cannot read English (in which case you would not be reading this review) this book is a worthwhile and fun purchase for any petrol head if simply for the collection of photos.

This is a good book. I like it not only because there's good information in it about different cars, but it also tells me how fast cars go that I have models of! For example, one of the cars you can find in this book is the Ferrari FXX. That one has a top speed of 243 mph! Another example: the Alpine-Renault A110, which has a top speed of 130 mph. Even if you can't afford even one of the cars in this book, think this: at least you can have good pictures/models of them. Also in this book is the Jaguar XJ220, whose top speed is 220 mph. You can also see the Bugatti Veyron--which has a top speed of 268 mph. And just so many more! A good book to have!

This is not a high quality product for the car connoisseur; however, it is ok for kids under 12

My oldest grandson loves cars and this book has so much to engross a young car lover, Thank you offering this.

My teenage son is a huge fan of sports cars, especially Lamborghinis and such. He loves flipping through and deciding whether or not he agrees with the decisions made by the authors - and, for the most part, he does. This is a high-quality, truly beautiful book - with all the right cars to make a car-lover happy.

Great photos of numerous high-end cars. The book contains various info about the cars. I have read other review(s) that claim the info is not entirely correct. That doesn't matter a whole lot to me...as long as it's close. I can do further research if I want particulars. The book is good to start conversations and gives you a good idea of what "dream" cars are out there.

I got this book for my 12-year-old son for Christmas, and he LOVES it. Reads it all the time. If you have a kid/teenager who is a sports car fan, this is a great book to buy for them.

The forms of shungite which I have tried so far have already improved my sleep, mental clarity, energy level and pain elimination, and I look forward to trying several additional uses which are described to improve my overall health and lessen my sensitivity. I am shocked that this book was never recommended to me by Amazon based on my past searches, items viewed and items purchased. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Great book. Extremely informative. Don't trust the internet articles- read this to get the real scoop on shungite. Other sites mention shungite gets "old" when filtering water but not according to this book. All shungite can be recharged in the sun.

Fascinating read. I have a couple of autoimmune diseases and am very sensitive to electromagnetic waves emitted from cell phones, computers and cordless phone bases. Nothing major, but it definitely throws me out of balance and makes me feel jittery so I can't sleep at night unless I shut everything down. This rare stone, shungite, supposedly counteracts the negative effects of EM waves on the body, without taking on a negative ion charge. The stones are found in only a single mine in northern Russia, and have been used for health by the Russians going back to Peter the Great. The book cites several Russian studies on the health benefits of shungite. Despite this, people outside of Russia remain skeptical. I'm willing to give it a try. The book lists online resources where you can buy shungite to wear and place near your electronic devices for protection from EM waves. You can also buy shungite products on Amazon that are reasonably priced. I figure I've got nothing to lose, so why not? I just wish that more scientific studies on this unique stone were conducted and written in English.

I think of Martha Stewart as the modern day, Julia Child. What would cooking and entertaining be without Martha Stewart. This book is beautiful. The photography is absolutely breathtaking. It is a wonderful guide for anybody who wishes to produce the perfect wedding. What would you expect from Miss Perfect herself. Like Martha Stewart, everybody should strive for perfection. If you do not achieve it, at least you can say you tried. This book also makes a fantastic, coffee table book.

I enjoyed reading this book once, but it’s not something I would regard as a helpful resource of ideas. I’m glad I didn’t pay any more than what I paid for it.

While the featured weddings occurred years ago, Martha Stewart's classic sense of style and execution is evident.

I got this book when I was planning my wedding and it provided a lot of ideas for me to glean from for my own wedding.

I have been stalking the Virtual Assistant profession for about 8 years now....back when information was really really scarce. Over the years, I've collected information here and there and always said as soon as I get my business established I would compile a book so that others interested in the VA field wouldn't have to dig the way I had to. Well, Diana Ennen and Kelly Poelker beat me to the punch. And they really nailed it. Everything is covered here. As an added touch there's commentary from other VAs that provide hints and tips on their breakthru into the industry. If you are considering the profession, please do yourself a favor and pick this book up ASAP.

This is a great book. If you are looking into this line of service/business this is the book to get you started. Great insight to what you will need, what's going to happen down the road and how to re-evaluate the company down the road. The Authors of this book know what they are talking about.

This was one of three books I purchased when I decided to start my business as a Virtual Assistant and I will have to say this book was wonderful! There is sooo much information, knowledge, and guidance packed into this book. I would not dare sell it for it is full of highlights and earmarks!!!! This book is more than worth the cost and has given me a lot of insight on how to get started with my business. The only thing I would caution is the information provided on Training. There is a section that mentions a certification program at Red Deer College (pg 23). After reading about the program I quickly went to the school's website to retrieve additional information. The curriculum was ideal for what I had been searching for so I made contact with the school, paid for the application, enrollment, and transcript fees, and waited for the course date. Two weeks before starting my first course I discovered I am considered a "foreign" student because the program is in Canada and therefore the cost of the courses literally tripled (courses fees went from $350 each to $1,000 each). Unfortunately, all of the fees I had paid are non-refundable but I think I am more disappointed I did not have the money to attend; the school's curriculum for its VA certification program looks better than any certification program I have come across so far! I highly recommend this book for any newcomer to the VA profession!

I've never rated Cherise below 5 stars, but I had to this time. I almost didn't finish this book after the first sex scene. That scene was disturbing because they'd never discussed fantasized or limits or safewords. Without that conversation, their first time having sex was a actually rape. Becca said no or stop at least 3 times and he kept going. That is not the behavior of a responsible Dom, especially when it comes to non-con. He didn't know her history or her triggers or anything meaningful about her. I was so mad and upset because this irresponsible scene was very unlike Cherise. I only continued because of the fact that this was unusual, I'm glad I did because the rest of the story kept this from becoming a 1 star review. If it's possible to edit this, please consider removing that first scene. You're a much better and responsible writer than that scene says you are.

I loved everything about this book, except the mountain man Dom's way-over-the-top, rushed initiation of a new potential sub into his version of kinky sex. So many of the vital rules and traditions of responsible and respectful and safe BDSM play were not followed, that finally, when Logan let his brother into the room in the midst of an already-too-intense scene with the newbie Rebecca, my gut reaction was so extreme that I found myself yelling out loud in my bedroom at the author and needing to step in to protect the poor girl!!! I was and still am so upset at this author for doing that to Rebecca and to me, the reader!!! I won't go into details, not wanting to spoil the storyline for other readers, but I had to talk myself down from anger and shock - several times - last evening; the scary, risky, unacceptable situation Rebecca was put thru really affected me.How did she ever trust Logan again? She needed hard limits, the proper use of safe words, and so many elements of BDSM protocols explained to her, and to be followed to the letter by the supposedly experienced Dom. It was hard for me to not hate Logan and his brother after that scene. And unfortunately the book abounded with many more occurrences of ridiculously inappropriate, overly aggressive BDSM play with a new sub.I hope readers new to BDSM are not scared off by this dangerous and wrong portrayal of BDSM behavior. I have been grateful that other erotic romance novels I have read have very carefully kept the BDSM play within "safe and consensual" boundaries. Please, Ms. Sinclair, rewrite this book and any others you have published that cross those important boundaries!!! You are acting very irresponsively! (At least, redefine Logan as a rogue Dom who is found out by the San Fran BDSM club, and confronted, then retrained to be an acceptable part of the community. And get poor Rebecca some healing, appropriate counseling as well.)I am unsure what to do next. I loved the mountain man aspects of the book, the character development was delightful, the rich writing style that included so many embellishing details (I felt right there in the clear mountain air as Logan and Rebecca walked along a scenic trail, etc.), that I would have given Master of the Mountain 4-1/2 or 5 stars - if the BDSM theme had not been so scarily, frustratingly dangerous. The sex scenes were so sensual and tender when Rebecca wasn't being taken advantage of. My dilemma: I don't know whether I should read more of Ms. Sinclair's exceptional stories or not. As a past abused person, I usually protect myself from such extreme victimization stories... Darn you, Ms. Sinclair.

3.75 to 4 ⭐️I’ve been meaning to try this author for a while now and I have finally worked my way around to trying one of her books. I enjoyed it even with the few little issues I had. Which is making it hard for me to rate. It’s ranging about 3.75 to 4I really liked Becca and connected well with her. I liked that she wasn’t a stick thin woman but had curves and also issues with those same curves. As a woman who carries a number of curves myself, I fully appreciated and understood her issues with her looks. I also really liked that once she got back to the city she tried to find out wether her attraction was just to Logan or if she did really enjoy being a sub. She didn’t take it on face value and used her brains to arrange a guide, who would both show her around and at the same time look after her.Logan I both liked and at times hated. At times he was the big bad Dom -don’t question me we’ll discuss it later. But they never did. Becca was new to the world and yet he never really discussed in detail with her what she was getting into, it was more a show than tell. But at other times it was hot. And outside of the bedroom I loved that he enjoyed Rebecca feisty and encouraged her to gain her confidence with ThorI’ll definitely continue on with this series and see how it goes

Master of the Mountain by Cherise Sinclair is a well-written book. The story is amazing. It does have BDSM elements so it may not be for everyone. While I'm not interested in the BDSM lifestyle, I don't mind reading a book with it now and then. To me, a good book is a good book, no matter what type of sexy bits live in it. And this one was good! Rebecca and Logan's story was packed with drama, humor and smoking hot sexy bits. The author gets an A plus from me for the characters and dialog in this book. Fantastic. I enjoyed reading Master of the Mountain and look forward to reading more from Cherise Sinclair in the future. Master of the Mountain is book 1 of A Mountain Masters & Dark Haven Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

It's like you put together something and all the ingredients are so good, but when you mix them together, there is just something wrong with the end product.It was like this in this book for me. Maybe it was the other characters (the boyfriend and the whole swinging club) that were annoying and immature and not very credible. It seemed to me like the whole story was rushed, like the characters had no time to get comfortable and just be in the book and take me on the ride with them, and it was over. I don't know. I have mixed feelings about this book. I just wished there had been more, I think.
